Our vision

 

Biokopp and its partners have developed environmentally friendly and edible coffee cups.

According to EU directive (DIRECTIVE (EU) 2019/904 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment ), the consumption of disposable plastic is to be completely and completely phased out.  And as a next step, similar requirements are also expected for cardboard cups. This requires new science and thinking in this market.

We deliver a new and unique product that is groundbreaking in its market, and which meets the requirements of increasingly environmentally conscious consumers and businesses. All to take a step closer to climate neutrality.

 

Our vision: To offer  a future-oriented and climate-friendly cup that will help reduce the current consumption of disposable cups and waste.

 

          That our cup is edible with the right nutritional content comes as a good number 2!  

          And if it is not eaten, then the cup is 100% biodegradable  and by the fact that it can be sorted into food waste.

          You will also get an upside to this  to be able to extract biogas. This is one of the main principles of circular economy.

    About the Cuppffe cup

The innovative cup is  sustainable alternative to cardboard and plastic cups  made from cereal products and works in the same way as the biscuits for an ice cream - durable shape, but easy to eat. Only a thin paper cover will be left:  And it acts as a handle, protection and as advertising space for your brand.

 

Cupffee's design does not come at the expense of the taste or quality of the drink. And unlike an ice cream, the cup remains intact, even when filled with hot drinks.

Cupffee   was developed and created by a Bulgarian research community that has spent the last 15 years perfecting the concept.
